Post Graduate and Research Department of Physics, SD College has conducted a popular science series session on 6th October, 2022. The chief guest of the programme was Dr. Arun Kumar P. , Deputy Director, ESES/LPSC, Valiyamala, Thiruvananthapuram. He inaugurated the programme and shared his insights and expertise on the remarkable success of Chandrayan 3 mission and also the future missions of ISRO. Dr. Lekshimi S. HOD, Physics presided over the function. Sri. Ramanad, retired HOD of Physics and management committee member falicitated Dr. Lekshmi S. for her national award as the best NSS programme officer. Dr. Rakesh Chandran, Assistant Professor, Dr. Manju S., Assistant Professor and Prof. (Dr.) Dileep, HOD Botany shared their thoughts on the occasion.
More than 50 school students participated the programme from various schools in Alappuzha. A quiz competition was also arraged for the students. Team from TD School got the prize for the competition.
